A GOOD THOUGHT

This is a thought sent to me by a friend. I would like to post it here for everyone..........

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with
guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsent and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on..
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you, everyone, for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

VEGITARIANS

I am a religious person. I have immense and indisputable faith in GOD. I respect all religions and believe in ONE GOD. The more I understand religion, the more firm becomes my idea about Vegetarianism. In my opinion those who are Vegetarians for religious reasons are FRAUDS.

Such people do not have the slightest idea about what religion is and what GOD wants out of every human being. They do not know the A B C .. of religion. They do things with other's mind and on someone else's saying/preaching. Most don't practice what they preach. ..... Will also like to mention here that I am also a Vegetarian............... We all know that some of the Sikh Gurus including Shri Guru Gobind Singh jee, were very fond of Hunting. If they went hunting, animals and birds must have been killed in the sport (hunting). Logically speaking, why would they kill and not eating the game. In those days Hunting Tours used to be of many days together. While staying away, from home, in the forest etc., where were the vegetables and other vegetarian eatables made available from. Whoever hunted...ate the hunt. This was and is a fact. Let us take the case of Shri Ram. We hear the story that he went after the Golden Deer, to hunt it, as Sita wanted the Deer's Skin. How can a lady who is a vegetarian, make such a request? Also where were all the vegetables grown for Ram, Lakshman and Sita during their exile. Ram's father used to go hunting and so did Ram and everyone else during those days. It was because of Raja Dashrath's hunting hobby that he got the curse, as per which he had to send Shri Ram on a exile for 14 years. There is no reference that these people were vegetarians. Logically speaking, they could never have been. The Christians and Muslims and any other religion - All Believe that there is ONE GOD. They are regular with their prayers and visits to the Church, Mosque or their respective place of worship, but you will hardly find Vegetarians in them. They are Good Human beings also and are well connected to God through their religion. On the contrary, Hitler (one of the cruelest man in the history) was a vegetarian. With due respect to Shri Ram and all the Ram Bhagats ------ No offence or Dis-respect meant. This is just a passing reference. Just Logically speaking!! Just some food for thought!!!!! If any body is still hurt, I AM EXTREMELY SORRY !!!! NO OFFENCE or DIS-RESPECT MENT TO ANY INDIVIDUAL or RELIGION.

BEWARE OF MEDITATION !!

Meditation is a MYTH of A REALITY. “God realization is a Myth – Self improvement for socially beneficent action is a reality of life”. Sys Dr. S. S. Bhatti, former principal of Chandigarh College of Architecture. An average person is turning towards seeking solace in various Cults and Streams of meditation, but it is a Rat Race that lacks Critical Thinking. To the confused, it serves as the perfect antidote. The more confused you are the more effect will be there on you of these myths. Only who run these Cults and Streams will benefit. The craze of mediation is as wide spread as the epidemic of AIDS and as serious and dangerous. One can vouch that meditation is not only patently FALSE, but also GROSSLY MISLEADING.

According to Dr. Herbert Benson, of Mind-Body Medical Institute affiliated to Harward, Meditation induces a number of bio-chemicals and physical changes in the body, collectively referred as the “relaxation response”. The relaxation response that meditation induces is actually no more than manifestation of withdrawal. This leads to alienation and an escapist attitude offering some immediate benefits, but long term consequences are alike to those of psychological drug addiction. Primarily, all kinds of mediation bring a person to an altered state of consciousness. One should be able to move to a meditative state in what you DO rather than ESCAPE from the harsh realities, shut your eyes in solitude and wish everything well. You should be able to differentiate between spiritualisms and meditation. Use your logical thinking to guide you. God has sent you to do the KARAM and not waste such a hard earned life. Meditation can be discovered in work itself. Provided one does it with full concentration and with joy. Meditation as being Marketed today by the various Cults and Streams will not only bring in destruction of human relationships, but will damage the society like the dreaded AIDS. This is a WAKEUP CALL !! for those who are in to meditation and CAUTION !! for those who are thinking of trying it. Just remember the Creator of this Universe and thank HIM every day. Rest of the time he wants you to lead a normal life and do your KARAM.

RELIGION is the most

MISS UNDERSTOOD,

MISS USED,

MISS REPRESENTED,

MISS QUOTED.

Those who have NO knowledge or LITTLE knowledge, are today at the helm of affairs. I will like to quote an incident where by a relative of mine, who is the member of the SGPC, came home with three more persons and two out of those were also SGPC members. I have one painting which I got made from the famous artist Davinder Singh. This is an original painting in oil and I own all its rights. The painting was displayed in my Drawing Room. The painting shows the congregation at Nanded when the Tenth Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh jee coronated Shri Guru Granth Sahib as THE GURU. He bowed in front of Shri Guru Granth Sahib and offered Five Paisa's, One Sehera and One Coconut as offerings to the Guru Grant Sahib and since that day as per his words "GURU MANYO GRANTH", Shri Guru Granth Sahib became the GURU of the Sikhs. He was the ONLY out of the ten Gurus who bowed in fromt of The Granth Sahib. Now these two Members of SGPC who accompanied my relative, asked me a question - on hearing which you will be astonished. They asked "Which Guru is this?" These are the people, who claim to be, working for the propagation of the Sikh Religion and they have NO idea of the history of the religion that they represent. This incident of installation of Shri Guru Granth Sahib as the Guru is known to even a small sikh child. At first I was angry, then ashamed and then I just gave it up on them. Such are the affairs of one of the most modern religion in the world.
